Discover Brunch Glory

Walking into Brunch Glory feels like stumbling on a neighborhood secret you instantly want to tell your friends about. Tucked away at 15985 97 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5X 0C7, Canada, this diner-style spot has quietly built a reputation for turning everyday brunch into something people genuinely look forward to. I first stopped in on a cold Edmonton morning after a long workweek, and the place was already buzzing with families, couples, and solo regulars flipping through the menu like it was a familiar book.

What stands out immediately is how approachable everything feels. The menu doesn’t try to be flashy, but it’s thoughtful. You’ll see classics like eggs Benedict, pancakes, and breakfast skillets sitting comfortably alongside modern favorites such as avocado toast with a twist or hearty protein-packed bowls. One of the servers explained how many dishes are prepped in small batches to keep flavors consistent, which lines up with what food service researchers often highlight: according to studies referenced by the Canadian Restaurant Association, smaller-batch preparation improves quality control and customer satisfaction. You can taste that care in the details, especially in the seasoning and textures.

During one visit, I watched a cook plate a stack of waffles while explaining to a trainee why timing matters more than speed. That kind of behind-the-scenes process shows experience, not just enthusiasm. It also explains why reviews frequently mention consistency. Regulars expect their favorites to taste the same every time, and this diner delivers on that expectation. One online review described their breakfast sandwich as best comfort food in north edmonton, and after trying it myself, that claim didn’t feel exaggerated.

The atmosphere plays a big role too. The space is casual and welcoming, the kind of place where you can linger over coffee without feeling rushed. Conversations flow easily, helped along by friendly staff who remember faces and orders. That human connection matters more than people realize. Hospitality studies from organizations like Restaurants Canada consistently show that personal service has a measurable impact on repeat visits, often more than décor or even price.

Brunch Glory also works well for different routines. Some people treat it as a weekend ritual, while others swing by midweek for a relaxed lunch. Portions are generous without being overwhelming, which makes it easy to share plates if you’re indecisive. On one visit, a group at the next table ordered three mains and split everything, laughing as they debated which dish deserved the top spot. Moments like that give the place a lived-in, local feel.

Location-wise, being in north Edmonton makes it accessible for residents who don’t want to head downtown just for a good meal. Parking is straightforward, and the surrounding area keeps things calm compared to busier brunch hubs. That convenience comes up often in reviews, especially from parents and older diners who value ease as much as flavor. Still, it’s worth noting that peak hours can mean a short wait, particularly on weekends. The staff is upfront about timing, which builds trust and keeps expectations realistic.

Nutrition-conscious diners will appreciate that the menu offers balance. There are indulgent options, sure, but also lighter plates and customizable choices. Nutrition experts often stress that flexibility helps people stick to healthier eating habits, and this menu reflects that idea without preaching. You can order something rich one day and something lighter the next without feeling out of place.

Overall, the appeal comes from how everything works together: reliable food, thoughtful processes, and genuine service. It’s not trying to reinvent brunch, just doing it well and consistently. That approach explains why word-of-mouth keeps spreading and why so many locals casually refer to it as our go to brunch spot when recommending places to eat.

  • Had a Valentine's special yesterday and it was amazing and very affordable. It was my first time eating here and it won't be my last. The food was great and the service was fantastic.

  • A wonderful experience. Our friends recommended. It was so enjoyable. I was greeted with beautiful smiles from Staff. I was served by young lady. Very good I ordered Steak and Eggs and the Steak was a perfect medium rare and easy over eggs. Perfect! My husband had one waffle plus burger and fries. He said was delicious. Coffee was non stop filled. Water too. Price was very reasonable. I will be back often. Thanks

  • The food was great. Ultimately this is what makes a restaurant. So our breakfast selections were served hot and tasted good. The service was excellent and not too intrusive. There was a large group in the restaurant and they ordered first so our order took a while to get. Otherwise everything was good. Our group of 4 enjoyed our meal. We will return at another time.

  • Very attentive staff. My coffee cup never went empty (and they refilled it like 6 times). Food was good. We got 3 things: the mushroom and pulled pork poutine with spicy hollandaise sauce. The sauce was amazing, the pulled pork was good, menu stayed cheese curds but it seemed more like shredded. Special skillet was very good. Best thing we got. Sausage was well seasoned. Special crepe came with a cheese slice inside. Ruined the entire dish even for someone that likes cheese slices. Coffee, for diner coffee, was fantastic.

  • I went for breakfast at 7 o'clock on a Saturday morning. It was my first visit since Breakfast Glory opened this location. While the furnishings and decor were left behind from the previous Ricky's that closed, everything else was new (menu, staff, etc.). The menu was extensive and had some nice choices (see photos). I ordered the spinach, onion, olive, and feta omelet, substituting regular eggs for egg whites, which they accommodated without hesitation (see photo). It was delicious (thank you Varghese)! To round it all off, the service was consistent and polite (thank you Senait)! I will be back.

  • Me and some friends from work have started meeting up when we are in the city for breakfast as several of us have moved onto other projects. The last time in Edmonton we went with Brunch Glory as our place to go for breakfast. Brunch glory is a nice small restaurant. We went here on a Saturday morning at 10AM and they even took a reservation. Which was nice. The servers were nice, kept coffee and water filled, the food all came out together for our group and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the eggs Benedict with spicy hollandaise sauce. It was super delicious, really great flavor to the hollandaise sauce. I got their potato chip like potatoes, they were nice, though I think I'd go with hasbrowns next time.
